Local Government Waste Education Network

The Local Government Waste Education Network (Ed Net) consists of waste and sustainability educators from Melbourne's metropolitan councils. The network meets at least four times per year, where educators celebrate their successes, discuss waste education projects, develop cross-council projects and network.

Ed Net is also one of the avenues that MWRRG and other state agencies use to communicate their initiatives and strategies, as well as the progress of broader waste initiatives. Ed Net members are also part of MWRRG’s mailing lists that allow them to keep abreast of the news and current issues of the waste space.

Ed Net events are usually held in conjunction with our two other education networks (CLEAN  and C2S) to create combined education network event days.
