Victorian Waste Education Conference - Sharing our Stories
You’re invited to hear the latest in waste education from around Australia and the world at the 2017 Victorian Waste Education Strategy Conference – Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 September.
Sustainability Victoria (SV) and Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group (MWRRG) would like to invite you to an interactive and engaging two-day conference designed for educators delivering waste/recycling and litter programs. The theme of the conference is sharing and celebrating project success stories. Sessions on how best to pitch your project, influence and gain support, communicate your message, gain stakeholder buy-in, establish partnerships, build capacity, evaluate and showcase your success will be explored and workshopped.
Building on the success of last year’s conference, the two-day conference will be held at CountryPlace Conference Centre in Kalorama (40mins from Melbourne CBD) and will include presentations, project updates and hands on workshops from SV, Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group, as well as from other experts focusing on the broad themes of:
- Measuring success
